Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I was directed over here by my very good friend Dutch in Illinois aka Larry. I have a blog in Yahoo 360, which I have used for over a year.

Yahoo have just launched (albeit in invitation only beta) a new site called Mash. There are a lot of rumours suggesting that this will take over from 360 and that 360 will be closed.

Personally, I don't think that will be the case as they are 2 different platforms. 360 is a dedicated blogging site whereas Mash seems to be a social networking site primarily for the younger generations.

However, a lot of 360er's have begun to look around at other sites in case we all have to jump ship. I tried other sites before settling with 360 in the first place. Blogger.com which is hosted by Google is ok, and that's where I begun; later putting all those first entries on 360. I prefer 360 for it's ease of use.

I also tried MSN Live Spaces, My Space, Live Journal and Facebook. I didn't really like any of them. It didn't seem possible to change them around to my liking, maybe I didn't learn enough about them. Anyway 360 is the best.

I do keep copies of all my blog entries on my hard drive in the form of Word documents, so I am not worried about loosing them. It would be nice though to have another home for them should 360 disapear. To that end, I have taken Dutch's advice and I am giving Blog stream a go.

I will see how I get on and what I think in due course. There endeth my first blog on Blog stream!!!!
